ERP & inventory systems
Purchase, stock, sales, receivables and accounting in one system across branches — the multi-branch ERP work I have done for distributors, manufacturers and traders.
From ₹2,00,000Custom software · Kerala
Software for trading houses, manufacturers, schools, hospitals and service firms across Kerala — designed from your process, built on Laravel by one developer in Kochi, delivered in milestones you use as they land. Fixed price, and the source code is yours.
Why custom software
A generic ERP forces your business into its workflow and charges per seat for the privilege. Custom software follows the way the business already runs — and it costs less over five years than most people expect.
Job costing per consignment, yield per batch, stock by purity and weight, fees by term and concession — whatever the unit of work in your business is, the software tracks that, not a generic approximation.
You buy the software once and own it. No per-user monthly fee that punishes growth, no module locked behind an upgrade, and no vendor deciding the price next year.
Business software with proper double-entry accounting beneath it, so reports reconcile and an auditor can follow the trail — not a sales table with a reporting layer bolted on.
What I build
Built on Laravel and MySQL, deployed on servers I manage or yours, with role-based access, audit trails and reports an owner can trust.

From ₹2,00,000Admissions, fees, attendance, exams, transport and parent communication — the platform I built for institutions across Kerala, used by 7+ schools.
From ₹1,50,000Leads, follow-ups, quotations, orders and collections for teams that currently run on WhatsApp and a diary. Built for how your salespeople actually work.
From ₹1,00,000GST-correct billing with multi-state handling, e-invoicing where required, receivables ageing and statements — and a sync to Tally or Zoho Books.
From ₹80,000Attendance, leave, shifts, payroll with PF, ESI and TDS, and the statutory reports — for factories, hospitals and service firms with a workforce to run.
From ₹1,20,000Legal practice management, restaurant POS, medical records, matrimony platforms, membership portals — systems for businesses no generic product fits.
Quoted per projectSoftware for Kerala businesses
The businesses that commission custom software in Kerala are rarely technology companies. They are cashew processors in Kollam tracking yield per batch, gold retailers in Thrissur managing stock by purity and weight, plywood units in Kannur and Kozhikode tracking grade and thickness, freight forwarders in Kochi costing every consignment, schools in Kottayam running admissions and fees, and hospitals in Thiruvananthapuram managing records and billing. None of these are served well by a generic ERP, and all of them have a unit of work that the software has to understand.
A large share of Kerala business is also owned remotely. When the owner is in Dubai or Riyadh and the manager is in Ernakulam, the system has to produce reports that can be trusted without supervision — that is a design requirement, not a feature request, and it shapes how access, approvals and audit trails get built. Every system here has role-based access, an audit log and dashboards designed for an owner reading them on a phone at the end of the day.
GST is handled properly — including multi-state billing for businesses trading across the Tamil Nadu and Karnataka borders, e-invoicing where turnover requires it, and clean exports to Tally or Zoho Books, so the accountant works from the system rather than reconstructing it. Notifications go out on WhatsApp, because that is where the business runs.
Everything is built on Laravel, in milestones. The first module lands within weeks and the team uses it while the next one is built, which is how first-generation adopters of proper software absorb it without the project stalling. If a native Android app for field staff or delivery riders is part of it, the same backend serves it.
Process
A single business tool takes six to ten weeks. A multi-module ERP takes three to twelve months. Milestones are fixed in the scope and each one is usable when it lands.
A working session on the process — who does what, where it breaks, what the reports have to show. You get a written scope, a fixed price and a milestone plan.
Week 1Database design and wireframes of every screen. The expensive mistakes in software are made here, so this stage gets the time it needs.
Weeks 2–3Module by module on staging. Your team uses each milestone — billing first, then stock, then reports — and feedback goes straight into the next.
Weeks 4+Opening balances, masters and history come across from spreadsheets, Tally or the old system. The team runs real workflows before anyone depends on it.
Final weeksLaunch, documentation, a training session, then 30 days of free fixes and a retainer for enhancements if you want one.

Pricing
Fixed-price quotes with milestone payments. These are the ranges most projects land in.
A single-purpose system — billing, CRM, inventory, bookings, a portal.
Multi-module — finance, stock, sales, HR, operations — across branches.
A product you sell to other businesses in your industry.
Custom vs off-the-shelf
A packaged product is right for a standard business. Custom wins when the process is specific — which, in Kerala's industries, it usually is.
| Off-the-shelf ERP | Custom build | |
|---|---|---|
| Fit to your process | You adapt to its workflow, with workarounds | It follows your workflow |
| Cost over five years | Per-user licences, annual maintenance, paid customisation | One-time build, hosting only after that |
| Industry specifics | Yield, purity, grade, consignment costing rarely supported | Built in from the start |
| Your data | In their format, on their terms | On your server, in a database you own |
| Changes | Wait for the vendor, pay for customisation | Built when the business needs them |
| Time to first use | Weeks of configuration | First module in weeks, full system in months |
| Best for | Standard trading or accounting needs | Operations specific to how you actually work |
