The Problem

Seven separate schools were using paper-based or disparate Excel-based systems for attendance, fees, exam management, and parent communication. Each had slightly different curriculum requirements (CBSE, ICSE, Kerala state), term structures, and reporting formats. Parents had no visibility into day-to-day performance. Administrators spent 20+ hours/week on repetitive data entry.

The Solution

Built a multi-tenant Laravel-based ERP with 75+ modules covering admissions, attendance, fee management, exam/report cards, timetable, library, transport, hostel, and payroll. Added configurable curriculum templates for CBSE/ICSE/state-syllabus. Built a native Android app for parents with push notifications for fee reminders, attendance alerts, and grade updates.

The Outcome

Reduced administrative workload by an estimated 60%. Parent engagement (app opens/month) 8× higher than the previous email-based system. Deployed across 7+ institutions with a shared codebase and per-institution branding/config.
